Flag Fact Friday: Ethiopia

​The Ethiopian flag contains what is known as the Pan-African colors. Green represents fertility of the land, yellow symbolizes justice and harmony, and the red stands for the sacrifice and heroism in defense of the land. The center disk, added in 1996, symbolizes peace, unity, and the equality of the nationalities of the people of Ethiopia.
